HaVy Ngo graduated from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. With experience in both hospital and ambulatory care settings, HaVy is passionate about leading patients to the path for better health through medication therapy management and lifestyle counseling. She is also certified in sterile compounding.
Besides working full-time as a hospital clinical pharmacist, HaVy works part-time as a medication therapy management consultant. She provides comprehensive medication reviews that include proper medication usage, side effects, drug interactions, and disease state management per evidence-based medicine.
In addition to practicing pharmacy, HaVy is passionate about lifestyle and medical writing, copyediting. She is a freelance writer for BuzzRx, a healthcare website. She is also a clinical content creator for Pocket Prep, an online exam prep company.
HaVy is currently working on a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Healthcare Management at Mercer University in Atlanta. As the daughter of an immigrant, her career goal as a healthcare provider was to advocate for underserved communities. She is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy.
She is an avid reader and yogi. When she is not working, HaVy loves to spend quality time with her fiancé, Alfred, while going on small adventures with their two dogs, Anthony and Lewis.
